A practical website redesign checklist
What to work out before changing your website.
Before you change the design, write down what is causing trouble. Are people calling to ask questions the site should answer? Is it hard to use on a phone? Are your services out of date? A short list of actual problems is a better brief than a collection of screenshots.
Go through the current site page by page. Keep a list of links that need to stay, content worth keeping, and information that needs replacing. Gather your logo, photos, service details, and contact information before design starts. This saves a lot of back-and-forth later.
