A quick overview

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, deliver our services and operate this website. We do not sell your personal information. You can contact us to ask about your information or make a privacy request.

About this policy

This policy describes how ZigaCode, a website design and development studio based in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India (“ZigaCode”, “we”, “us” or “our”), handles personal information through zigacode.com, project enquiries and related business communications.

It covers information we handle for our own business. Where we process personal information on a client’s behalf while building or maintaining a website, the client’s instructions, the relevant project agreement and the client’s own privacy notice also apply.

Information we collect

  • Enquiry details: your name, email address or phone number, business category, project type and any additional information you choose to share with us.
  • Project and communication records: correspondence, requirements, feedback, business materials and details needed to prepare proposals or deliver agreed services.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic or security information processed by our website and infrastructure providers.
  • Usage and performance information: page views, navigation, enquiry events and website performance measurements where analytics or performance tools are active.
  • Subscription information: selected amount, billing configuration and checkout identifiers generated when you start a subscription. Payment details are handled through the payment provider as explained below.

Please share only information relevant to your request. Do not send passwords, payment credentials, identity documents or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form.

How we use information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your enquiry and discussing your project requirements.
  • Preparing proposals, delivering agreed work and providing project support.
  • Starting subscription checkout and handling billing enquiries.
  • Operating, troubleshooting and improving the website and its performance.
  • Preventing spam, misuse, fraudulent requests and unauthorised access.
  • Maintaining necessary business records and meeting applicable legal obligations.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. If we introduce optional marketing communications, we will provide the relevant choice and a way to stop receiving them.

Our enquiry form asks for your affirmative consent before submission. The enquiry email records the notice version, consent wording and the server-recorded time alongside your brief. You can withdraw consent or raise a privacy concern by contacting contact@zigacode.com.

Where consent is required by applicable law, we will seek it for the relevant purpose. Other processing may be necessary to handle a request you make, fulfil an agreement or meet a legal obligation, as permitted by applicable law.

When we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by service providers where needed to operate our business, including:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that serve the website and support security, diagnostics and availability.
  • Email providers that deliver enquiry submissions to contact@zigacode.com and support our replies.
  • Analytics and performance providers described in the next section.
  • Payment providers that operate checkout, payment authorisation and subscriptions.

Access within our team or by people supporting a project is limited to what is needed for their work. We may also disclose relevant information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

If a business transfer or restructuring involves personal information, any transfer will be subject to applicable law and appropriate notice where required.

Payments and subscriptions

Subscription checkout is hosted by Razorpay. Information you enter there, such as billing, payment or authorisation details, is processed by Razorpay and the relevant financial institutions. Our website does not collect your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password through its enquiry form or subscription endpoint.

We use subscription identifiers and selected billing details to initiate checkout and support related enquiries. Review Razorpay’s privacy policy before providing payment information. Payment authorisation and cancellation are governed by the checkout terms and your service agreement.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to enquiries, completing projects, supporting clients and maintaining necessary business records.

The relevant period depends on the nature of the information, our relationship with you, applicable accounting or legal requirements, and any unresolved dispute. Operational cookies have the lifetimes listed above; provider logs, analytics records and backup copies follow the relevant service settings and retention processes.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it where practicable. A deletion request may be subject to information we must retain for a lawful reason; we will explain any relevant limitation when responding.

How we protect information

We use safeguards designed to reduce unauthorised access and misuse, including input validation, request limits, protected administrator sessions and encrypted email transport. We limit access according to the work being carried out.

No website, transmission method or storage system can guarantee absolute security. If an incident affects personal information, we will assess it and take appropriate action, including notifying affected people or authorities where required by applicable law.

Your choices and requests

You can choose whether to submit an enquiry. Without the information needed to understand and respond to it, we may be unable to assist.

You may contact us to request access to information we hold about you, correct inaccurate details, ask for deletion, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or raise a concern about how your information is handled. Additional rights may apply depending on your location and the law applicable to your request.

Where applicable, you may also request information about whom your data has been shared with, completion of incomplete records, or nomination of another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. Contact us through the privacy-request address below to ask about these options.

Email contact@zigacode.com with the subject “Privacy request” and describe what you need. We may request proportionate verification to protect your information. We will respond within any applicable statutory timeframe and explain any limitation that prevents us from fulfilling your request. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.
